What is Mo West?
Mo West Championship Wrestling Club is one of the premier off-season training clubs in the state of Missouri. Throughout the spring and summer the best high school wrestlers in Missouri can be found training freestyle and Greco at Mo West. In the fall Mo West provides a folkstyle/pre-season training session.
During the spring and summer training sessions are held three nights a week (typically Mon, Tues, Thurs). These practices are led by some of the top coaches in Missouri. The club’s goal is to qualify wrestlers for the Missouri National Team, sending them to Fargo prepared to become All-Americans.
How Do I Join MoWest?

MoWest was established in 2002 by Jason Heslop, Matt Cox, and Matt Infranca with the intentions of creating the toughest wrestling environment with the most advanced training in the Kansas City area for high school wrestlers, These wrestlers were training for one tournament, the Cadet and Junior National Championships in Fargo, North Dakota. Starting with a hand full of kids, the high school club has grown to over 150 kids. With numerous National Champions and All Americans, MoWest continues to set the precedence for freestyle and greco roman training in Missouri. Notable alumni Louis Caputo, Dom Bradley, Chris Chionuma and Keenan Hagerty to name a few, have set the standard for our current and future athletes.
